08.01. 2010.	School Results - Mwingi Eastview Academy: At the end of every year in Kenya, all Primary school 8^th class students sit for the final Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams. This is a nation wide exam and it’s prepared at national level by the Ministry of Education. It’s the exam which determines whether a student is qualified to join Secondary School. In the year 2008 we had our first students from Mwingi Eastview Academy who sat for KCPE exam. These students had marvellous performance and several of them were among the top hundred leading in the whole country. Our school was as well the leading in Mwingi and Kyuso District in North-eastern Kenya. At the end of the year 2009 Exam, our students have again done marvellous job and our school is again among the top hundred in the whole country.

11.01. 2010.	Projects and plans for 2010: This year we have several ongoing projects which we are looking for donors in order to be able to complete. One of them is construction of the girls’ dormitory and multipurpose dining hall and equip them to be ready for use in the year 2011. We also plan to equip the 4 finished classrooms. Special thanks to the Institute of Sports Science University of Basel and Kanton (District) of Basel for their assigned generous donation which is directed to finishing and equipping the girls’ dormitory. Special thanks as well goes to the Kantonsschule Romanshorn where they have a class which is launching a project called “*SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR SCHOOL UNIFORM*”. With their project, these students plan to wear school uniform for a week, raise funds and donate it for school uniforms to our forthcoming Secondary school which will open doors in the year 2011. More information will be available soon! We invite generous individuals, institutions, organizations, schools and universities to donate financially or/and any other support necessary to complete our projects. 2007-2010.	Finished Projects Water Project - The connection of two Kilometer Water pipes from Mwingi Twon to Mwingi Eastview Educational Center which supplies the local people within the area with piped water. Building of Tuition Block, Dinning Hall and Dormetry for the new Secondary School - This project has taken a while to finish since the costs were too high but through our donors, we have been able to finish it.
